Why God Allows Discomfort: Refinement, Not Randomness | ScriptureInLife
Discomfort is almost universally treated as a problem to be solved. We are surrounded by systems designed to minimize it — medical, technological, psychological, spiritual. But Scripture frames discomfort differently, and understanding that framing changes how we relate to the hard things that come into our lives. The Mistaken Assumption God wants to remove our discomfort. Suffering is an enemy to be overcome, and faith is the means of overcoming it.
